Until recently I was CEO at Mammoth, which was acquired by Prysm in July 2016.

Previously, led collaboration at PlayStation, founded Heylos Co-Browsing IM and The Indian List.

I like real-time communication tech and robotics. I’m into startups, technology, games, music and everything in between. I played guitar in a band.

If I can help you with something email me. I frequently help international students looking to pursue Grad school in the US or get started in their careers.

I grew up in the bustling, vibrant, unique city that is New Delhi. I went to boarding school at St. Joseph’s College, in breath-taking beautiful Nainital. After a couple of years at Delhi Public School, Mathura Rd, I went on to receive a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the Institute of Technology & Management, MD University, Gurgaon. This modern metropolis that defines “India Shining” was being built during these unforgettable four years.

Received a Master of Computer Science, majoring in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics from Texas Tech University. As a research assistant in the AI Robotics Lab I made some smart robots.

Having launched my career at a startup, I most recently worked at Sony Computer Entertainment America in California, responsible for providing an engaging, highly useful collaboration environment for managers, artists and developers across PlayStations’s game studios worldwide. Yes, gaming is awesome.

Previously, I also built a co-browsing instant messenger called Heylos, which ran for a while, but was too early for its time. Starting out with bare-bones XMPP libraries, I wrote a bunch of server extensions, browser extensions, and a cross-platform GUI client to make the magic happen. If you’re interested in such stuff, get in touch and we’ll discuss the future of collaboration.

Having moved quite a bit, I eventually got tired of the status quo, so launched The Indian List. Its the simplest way to find local businesses and events in your city. Check it out.

Living in beautiful, energetic, Silicon Valley, you will find me discussing product ideas and strategy, attending conferences, startup events and helping where I can. It’s not all work though, after all, this is The Golden State.

Music is a passion, to play and to listen. I play the guitar and played some on stage over the years. You can also occasionally find me at Bottom of the Hill enjoying it fresh. Here’s my tribute to The Doors from long gone ago. Another passion is motorcycles. I used to drive a metallic red Royal Enfield Bullet, for a big part of my life. They just don’t make bikes like that anymore.

In 2002, I was able to get a membership to Mensa (for the uninitiated: its the high-iq society) — yeah, I know, its an ego-booster. It was easier than I had imagined anyway.
